The Inclusively Fit Project – Energize Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin are really happy to share with you our exciting new network, Telford and Shropshire Special Olympics.
This network incorporates over 12 partners and will bring new activities and experiences for people with learning disabilities from age 5 upwards. Creating opportunities to meet new people, get out more in the community and take part in physical activity, all whilst learning new skills.
We have had an immense amount of support from Special Olympics Great Britain to create a network in this area from highlighted need and demand, in particular around Telford, and also wider Shropshire. With plans already in place to host regional events from 2019.
