Communication Aids
Many children in school may have a communication aid to enable and encourage them to be effective communicators. If your child has a specific communication aid that they use at home then this is all part of their ‘Homework’ as they are also practising and consolidating the same communication skills used at school but in different contexts.
If you require further support or additional resources to facilitate effective communication with your child at home please contact your child’s class teacher or Speech and Language Therapist.
