Key Stage 5


At The Bridge there are a small number of pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties with complex health and physical needs (Year 12 to 14).  These pupils are working on early stages of development.  The units of work for National Curriculum subject areas provide a context for multi-sensory delivery and for repetition to support skill development alongside the 12 month outcomes set at the annual review of EHCP.


Pupils take part in activities that develop skills in a variety of multi-sensory situations linked to their assessed level of working/development and next steps.  Part of their programme is about making links for the future and transition to support this as well as working on any agreed therapy strategies/programmes.
